CosBuild hosts independent, fan-made educational tutorials created by cosplay creators. CosBuild is a platform for creators to share costume construction, styling, sourcing, makeup, wig, prop-making, sewing, foam-work, and related cosplay methods with other fans.

No affiliation with original IP holders

CosBuild is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by, or connected to any game developer, anime studio, film studio, television network, publisher, brand, or other intellectual-property owner.

Character names, designs, artwork, trademarks, franchises, and related intellectual property referenced in tutorials belong to their respective owners.

Tutorials teach fan-made construction and styling techniques

CosBuild tutorials are intended to teach fan-made construction, styling, sourcing, and build techniques. Tutorials should not include official artwork, game assets, logos, or official media as paid materials or downloadable files unless the creator has permission.

CosBuild does not sell finished costumes, official merchandise, counterfeit goods, or official character products.

Creator responsibility

Each tutorial is created by an independent cosplay creator. CosBuild provides the platform for hosting, organizing, selling access to, and delivering tutorials. Individual creators are responsible for the accuracy, quality, originality, rights, safety warnings, and content of their tutorials.

Build safely

Cosplay builds can involve sharp tools, heat, adhesives, resins, paints, solvents, sanding dust, electronics, fumes, and chemicals. Always follow manufacturer instructions and safety warnings for any product or tool you use, work in a suitable space, and use appropriate protective equipment.

You are responsible for working safely. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CosBuild and creators are not responsible for injury, damage, or loss from following tutorials.

Results vary depending on your skill level, tools, materials, time, body measurements, environment, and experience. CosBuild does not guarantee that following any tutorial will produce a specific result, fit, appearance, durability, comfort level, or photo/video outcome.
