Buyer Terms (Terms of Use)

1. About these Terms / who we are
These Buyer Terms govern your use of CosBuild as a buyer or visitor.
CosBuild is operated by Lucas Viegas Ruiz Inoi de Oliveira (Dubai, United Arab Emirates) and lets fans buy access to fan-made cosplay build tutorials.
By creating an account, buying a tutorial, accessing a tutorial, or using CosBuild, you agree to these Buyer Terms, the Refund Policy, the Privacy Policy, the Disclaimer, and any other policies linked on CosBuild. If you do not agree, do not use CosBuild.
2. Your account
You must give accurate information, keep your login details secure, and are responsible for activity on your account.
You must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live. One person may not share an account with others for the purpose of giving them access to paid tutorial content.
3. What you are buying
When you buy a tutorial, you are buying access to digital content, such as written steps, photos, embedded videos, materials lists, tools lists, files, and creator guidance.
You are not buying a physical item, a finished costume, official merchandise, any official product, or any rights in the characters, designs, franchises, or brands referenced.
Tutorials are fan-made educational guides created by independent creators.
4. Your licence to use a tutorial
When you buy a tutorial, you receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access that tutorial through CosBuild for your own personal use.
You may not copy, share, resell, redistribute, publicly post, upload, scrape, download except where expressly allowed, record, reproduce, make derivative tutorial products from, or make the tutorial available to others.
The content remains owned by the creator or relevant rights holder and is licensed to CosBuild for platform use. Your purchase does not transfer ownership.
5. Payment
Prices are shown on each tutorial page and taken at checkout.
Payments are currently processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record for buyer transactions and may handle payment processing, receipts, applicable taxes, refunds, chargebacks, and payment-related support. Lemon Squeezy may appear on your receipt, invoice, billing record, or card statement.
Once payment succeeds and access is granted, the tutorial appears in your CosBuild library.
6. Immediate digital access
By purchasing a tutorial, you request access to digital content. Where required, CosBuild or its checkout provider may ask you to consent to immediate access and acknowledge that you may lose any statutory withdrawal or cooling-off right once access begins.
7. Refunds
Purchases are subject to the Refund Policy, including how statutory withdrawal or cooling-off rights may work for immediately supplied digital content. Please read it before buying.
8. Build safely
Cosplay builds can involve sharp tools, blades, heat, adhesives, resins, paints, solvents, sanding dust, electronics, fumes, and chemicals. Always follow manufacturer instructions and safety warnings, work in a suitable space, and use protective equipment.
You follow tutorials at your own risk and are responsible for working safely.
9. No guaranteed results
Results vary with skill, tools, materials, time, measurements, environment, and execution. CosBuild does not guarantee that following a tutorial will produce any particular result, appearance, fit, durability, comfort level, or photo/video outcome.
10. Fan-made; no official endorsement
Tutorials are independent, fan-made educational content. CosBuild is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by, or connected to any game, anime, film, television, publisher, brand, studio, or rights holder.
Character names, designs, trademarks, franchises, and related intellectual property belong to their respective owners.
11. Content may change or be removed
Creators and CosBuild may update, unpublish, remove, disable, or restrict tutorials, files, links, previews, or accounts, including after a takedown request, rights-holder complaint, payment-provider issue, safety concern, legal issue, or policy violation.
Where reasonably possible, CosBuild aims to preserve access to tutorials already purchased. However, this may not always be possible if content must be removed or restricted for legal, safety, rights-holder, payment-provider, technical, chargeback, fraud, or platform-policy reasons.
12. Acceptable use and suspension
You must not misuse CosBuild, including by:
- breaching the tutorial licence in section 4;
- sharing paid content with others;
- trying to bypass payment or access controls;
- scraping, copying, or mass-downloading content;
- interfering with site operation or security;
- uploading or sending malware, spam, or abusive messages;
- using CosBuild for illegal, infringing, fraudulent, or harmful activity.
CosBuild may suspend, terminate, or restrict accounts or access that break these Terms or platform policies, or where required for legal, safety, rights-holder, payment-provider, fraud, chargeback, or security reasons.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, CosBuild and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or injury, damage, or loss arising from following tutorials.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including mandatory consumer rights or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is not permitted.
Where permitted by law, CosBuild’s total liability for a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the tutorial concerned.
14. Changes
CosBuild may update these Buyer Terms. Material changes will be shown by a new version or date.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (Emirate of Dubai), and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Your mandatory local consumer-protection rights are not affected.
